The Vale Derradeiros plot, a cherished vineyard in the Dão region, was established by the family's first generation in 1919. Spanning an area of 500 m², this historic vineyard showcases an impressive diversity of grape varieties. In collaboration with the Nelas Center for Viticultural Studies, 22 distinct grape varieties have been identified here, including white, red, and rosé types, all within a compact space that also features grapevines, olive trees, hazelnut trees, fig trees, and peach trees. This picturesque setting beautifully represents the traditional landscape of old vineyards in the Dão region, where we cultivate our authentic wines.
“After years of dedication to the vineyards, we are rewarded with a final moment of reflection and harmony between time and the art of winemaking.”
