Trás-Da-Gandâra

 The Trás da Gândara plot consists of an area of 0.3 hectares, which was replanted in 2006 exclusively with the Touriga Fêmea grape variety. Although morphologically identical to Touriga Nacional, this variety displays a distinct aromatic profile, resulting in notably more elegant and fresher wines. The vineyard is trained using the Guyot system and is located on sandy granitic soil along the banks of the Dão River.
